There’s another way

There is always another way. Do you feel sick, sluggish can’t stop drinking energy drinks? Been told you have to have this surgery “there’s no other way”. Here take this pill it will make it go away. That is because that is all they know. Should you only believe someone because they have a degree? What if they were trained to tell you what they tell you. You go to a surgeon. They have spent the last 10+ years performing surgery. You present your problem to them. Do you think they don’t want to cut you open and fix it? If you go to a chiropractor, they as well will use their knowledge to heal you with what they have been taught. I guess what I am trying to say is you follow the health model you want to follow.

Me, I am following a Chiropractic structure dictates your function, paleo nutrition is what a lifestyle should be, essential oils heal me physically, mentally and emotionally kind of path. Choose your path wisely.

Go to the hospital and see what kind of people go there. Go to a nursing home and see what sent them there. Look at our parents and decide if that is how we want to age. It’s not all genetic. Let’s seek the knowledge of the lifestyle we want.

Honey Jar Ranch

I live a Paleo lifestyle and one of the reasons I can is because of this ranch dressing. When I first heard of living this way I told my nutritionist Karen that the only way I could do this diet is if I could have mayonnaise. Paleo mayonnaise is very easy to make but it lacks some kick.

Callen's Ranch Poupon The first time I made my dressing I did not have any lemon. But, being the essential oil lover that I am, I had lemon oil. The next ingredient was dill. Damn, I don’t have any of that either! I do however have dill essential oil that comes in the Sunsational blends. It also has cumin oil which I love to cook with as well. Anyway, I made the dressing and instantly rose to my have to “have at every meal list”. One thing to keep in mind with this recipe as it has the possibility of becoming a runny liquid if you mix the egg incorrectly. It is recommended that you let the egg come to room temperature and/or let the egg fall to the bottom of the oil before blending. If you are concerned search “paleo mayonnaise” on google and follow a recipe there. I also don’t add seasonings until the end just to be sure.

Make Paleo Mayonnaise.

I mix 1 1/2 cups of Avocado Oil from Costco ($10 litre) and 1 farm fresh egg using an immersion blender. I mix it in a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup.

Mix in remainder of ingredients:.
4 tsp lemon juice and 6 drops (or more) of lemon essential oil
4 drops of dill essential oil (or 1 tsp of dried dill)
2 tsp chopped chives
4 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp salt (Redmond’s Real Salt)there is no substitute for good salt.
1/4 tsp black pepper

If the mixture is too thick I add a nut milk to it a little at a time until desired consistency.
I then pour it into a honey jar. It goes well with my paleo spaghetti or over my sweet potato hash.
